Most, if not all of the time, when our hitters are having trouble batting, the problem doesn’t stem from a swinging issue, instead.., it’s an issue with their PERCEPTION! When I was a player, I remember swinging and missing at the curveball and walking back to the dugout thinking to myself.., “Dang, he fooled me with that pitch!”
The same thing happens when a fastball gets on you quickly. It just took your BRAIN too long to process WHERE the ball is going and WHEN will the ball get there!
